Foundation Ventilation

Help Regulate Moisture and Prevent Mold Growth with Foundational Ventilation

Dampness in a basement or crawl space should be controlled. It can produce conditions conductive to the growth of mold and decay fungi. A dehumidifier or vents (in the case of a crawl space) would be helpful, but a better answer is to increase air circulation, ventilation, and dehumidification. Vulcan can achieve these results by installing a humidity ventilator or, in the case of a crawl space, vents and a vapor barrier.

Why Do I Need Foundation Vents?

  • Allows outside air to circulate under floor
  • Prevent Moisture build up
  • Helps prevents growth of mildew, mold and rot
